I am a Roman Catholic priest in Houston, Texas, in the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter and the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.  I have been in the ordained ministry nearly 35 years -- 25 of them as a priest in the U.S. Episcopal Church.  I was a parish priest and a Cathedral dean during those years.  I was ordained to the Catholic priesthood by Cardinal DiNardo in 2013 and have worked throughout the archdiocese -- assisting in several parishes and serving as president of St. John XXIII College Preparatory School in Katy, TX.  I have been married 35 years, to Dixie, and have a daughter and two grand-daughters.  I am a former investigative newspaper reporter and editor, a college baseball player, an adjunct professor of history and religion,  a musician, writer, and author of three books.  Two books are in progress.  My journeys between this world and the next are the primary subject of this blog site.  Let me know about your journey.
